Centerstone Recovery Centers offers compassionate, residential treatment for addiction through three locations across Indiana—all accepting Medicaid. Each offers a 28-day residential treatment program designed to meet you where you are in your recovery journey. With a focus on individualized, evidence-based care, our programs support adults, including those with co-occurring mental health conditions, pregnant and postpartum women, and people living with HIV or hepatitis C. We accept people who are on methadone and in good standing with an opioid treatment program (OTP) provider. How do I know if I or a loved one needs treatment?
Addiction is a complex condition, and the signs can vary from person to person. Common indicators may include increased substance use, unsuccessful attempts to stop using, or changes in behavior that seem out of character. If you’re concerned about yourself or someone you care about, now is the time to seek help.
Call us at 812-200-0053 — we’re here to support you.
How does the admissions process work?
When can I start treatment?
We understand that when you’re ready to seek help, timing is critical. That’s why we work hard to offer same-day admissions whenever possible. To get started, just call us at 812-200-0053 — we’re here to help you take the first step.
What should I expect during the first visit to a treatment facility?
From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed by a compassionate team dedicated to supporting you every step of the way. Our staff will guide you through the admission process, helping you complete any necessary paperwork, and begin to explore the unique challenges of your condition in a safe, understanding environment.
You’ll have a chance to enjoy a nourishing meal provided by our culinary team. Afterward, you’ll be shown to your room—a space to rest and reflect. You’ll also be introduced to the amenities available on our campus, created to support healing and personal growth. As your first day comes to a close, you’ll be oriented to our program and have the opportunity to begin connecting with fellow residents. It’s the start of a journey—one we walk together.
How long does addiction treatment typically last?
Addiction treatment duration can vary for everyone. We will collaborate with you to provide the right plan for your recovery. Every client receives a personalized aftercare plan to support their return to the community, ensuring continuity of care.
How often does family programming occur?
Family programming occurs weekly, with an option for site-specific Zoom meetings upon request.
Will I have access to my phone?
You will not have access to your cellphone, but you can make calls.
Is treatment covered by insurance?
Most health insurance plans cover treatment for substance use disorders, including Medicaid. If you need assistance in obtaining insurance, we have licensed navigators to help you.
How will my withdrawal symptoms be managed? Will I need to go to detox first?
During the assessment, we help you determine if detox is a necessary option. We have alternative and comfort medications. We will make sure you are comfortable during treatment.
Clients with alcohol use disorders or benzodiazepine use must complete detox prior to admission to ensure medical safety. All other substances can be safely detoxed at our facility through withdrawal management. Detox needs will be evaluated during our admissions assessment.
